Kelly's Ultimate Sports special limited edition of the Demarini EvoAX. Nearly impossible to find these days, especially in this condition! Truly a beautiful bat, too: Ferrari red glossy paint and awesome exposed carbon fiber handle. You'll stand out on the fields with this guy!
If you don't know the history of the Evo, these were Demarini's first production bats with composite barrels! They had previously made two-piece bats with composite handles and single-wall or double-wall aluminum barrels, but never applied their composite technology to the barrel... until they released the Evo!
This Evo AX is a continuation of the series, with some improvements to the Evolution composite used in the handle and barrel. These things were absolute fire straight out of the wrapper, but had a penchant for breaking faster than most bats - that's why you rarely see any of them around these days!
Own a piece of histor... one that you can take out to the field and crush some homeruns with!
