The set of individual dosimeters "DP-22V" consists of 50 individual dosimeters DKP-50A and charger ZD-5.
Structurally, the DKP-50A dosimeter from the DP-22V kit is made in the form of a fountain pen (“pencil”) and consists of an ionization chamber, an electroscope, a capacitor, a microscope and a contact group in a duralumin case. When exposed to ionizing radiation in the volume of a charged ionization chamber, the walls of which are made of tissue-equivalent conductive plastic, a current arises that reduces the potential of the chamber and the associated capacitor. The charger contains two power sources (replaced by any 1.5 V batteries), electrical circuits for generating a constant voltage of 250 V, a variable resistor for setting the voltage required for the dosimeter and a charging socket.
Two new elements 145U provide the charger for 30 hours.
