    Description

Vintage Taxco Sterling Filagree Panel Bracelet Signed 1940s. Shipped with USPS First Class.
    This weighs approximately 47.93 g.
It is approximately 7.75" long and .8" wide.  The safety chain does not detach. This tells me that it is definitely pre 1950.
I've had this bracelet for several years and because of the unique and modernist design I have tried very hard to identify it properly.
I do own the Bill Hougart book.  I do not consider myself an expert.
As you can see in the photographs there is an extra initials and number that appears to be D.P. 4000  But the top half of the numbers are cut off.
The other possibility if this is not a Hector Aguilar is that it was made by Tano Castillo. (Antonio Castillo)
The exerpt from the authoritative book does mention that Hector Aguilar went into business and did some hollowware post World War II. This is a hollowware bracelet.  And it does have some extra lettering and numbering that would fall in the category of these items.
"Aguilar also contracted with Horacio de la Parra’s Platería Azteca to produce hollowware. The “Azteca” items are marked with eagle 9 or 31 and a design or production number."
This is my very best due diligence.
    Please view the photos carefully.
